Enjaz

The communities that we work in perceive SEERO in a special way. Community members look to SEERO as a positive and unique place of work where intelligence, hard work, and growth are met. We always get support messages from the communities within which we work. We believe that we are an active part of the community in our industry, and we hope we keep growing this spirit. We conduct social events periodically to connect with each other at a personal level to know “who” our people are. Who are their families, their living style, and their outside hobbies? Onetime, we had a nice guitar event after hours where we listened to beautiful music from one of our colleagues.

We also understand our social responsibility as a company. We are a for-profit organization, and we know the best way to improve the economic development in our communities is by working! When we work, we improve, we get happy, we help each other, we move the economy forward, and we innovate.

Therefore, we believe that entrepreneurship and business as models to support our economy. One of our initiatives is called “Enjaz,” which is an Arabic word that means “achievement.” We have supported more than six businesses in developing countries such as Palestine to start and grow small businesses run by owners and entrepreneurs. Our team and volunteers do a detailed screening of ideas we receive from hundreds of people who would like to start or grow small businesses such as barber shops, poultry shops, or dentist clinics. We give these entrepreneurs a small amount of money with no interest financing to support their businesses. The financing is not meant to make money but rather gives opportunities for people to start their own small businesses, and we ask them to pay it back so we can use the money again for the next group of entrepreneurs. We keep it at a very simple level so we ensure that we do not overcomplicate the process for these entrepreneurs. We have been successful in funding multiple businesses in Palestine, and we are proud of this initiative. The funds for these initiatives come as donations or Zakat money from our profit-generating companies. We do see this as a great tool to use the funds to help people build their own financial stability rather than using the money as a temporary alleviation only. Connect with us if you like this idea and want to work with us. This initiative would not happen without the great efforts of our volunteers in SEERO and Enjaz.
