Flood Risk Assessment

Flood risk assessment identifies the risks and impacts of flooding on road and infrastructure networks. SEERO provides exceptional flood risk assessment services for roads and wet utilities (stormwater and sewer networks) as per international and national design standards and guidelines. Seero invests and utilizes the latest technology and engineering tools to deliver ideal design and representative hydraulic models. InfoWorks ICM and Civil3D engineering tools are utilized to deliver optimum flood risk assessment services to our clients. We use hydraulic models to simulate different rainfall events and storm durations to have a better understanding of flood risks and mitigation options. We make use of flood models and ground modeling to assess the actual flooding on roadway lanes, the impact of flooding on existing/proposed facilities/development, and the impact of the proposed development on the watercourse in order to propose the best flood mitigation and control solutions. Moreover, we utilize the flood models to study and analyze the hydrodynamic of the flow within the drainage and sewer networks’ elements like pipes, manholes, pumps, weirs, orifice, sluices, inlets, swales, culverts…etc; this is to evaluate the adequacy and sufficiency of the network elements and optimize their functionality.
