The overall objectives for the Innovation committee in SEERO are summarized in the following:
The Innovation Committee work to achieve the above objectives by implementing internal projects and initiatives such as the following:
Team: The committee includes a Lead and Team Members. The Innovation Committee contact info is innovation@seeroeng.com
Budget: We have an annual budget for this Committee which is divided into the direct spendable budget and team hours, which are both controlled and authorized by the Innovation Lead.
Process: The Innovation Lead requests for submission of project ideas from the SEERO team across all operations. We are also open to innovative ideas from the public (if you have one, please email us here). The ideas received are reviewed and listed for evaluation by the Lead in consultation with the Committee members. The Lead works with the proponent and/or committee members to develop basic inputs for the proposed innovation project proposal. The project proposal (up to 2 pages) must include responses to the following questions:
The project proposal is signed by the Innovation Lead and Project Manager for kick-off. A project code, folder, and Polaris/Replicon project are then opened following the typical SEERO process.
Reporting: The innovation Lead is responsible for reporting the Innovation Committee work in a 2-page report four times every year. (1st quarter, 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter, and 4th quarter) to the SEERO Board members. The committee lead develops internal committee meetings as needed.
